I know that baking is something two years of culinary arts is needed.
Could a person learn just as much cooking in a restaurant kitchen hands on than someone who went to a 2 year culinary art school?
I have a few questions about this:
- What does it take?
- What do they teach you?
- Do they teach you about the basics, such as the equipment and the terms?
- What should you know before you take the course?
BTW: I’m posting this question in the cooking section because I know many of you who are in this section have went to culinary school or have taken culinary arts courses.
Thank you in advance!
I am 15 and i am trying to go to Culinary art school because I am interested in cooking.
Do i need to know certain things before i apply, or do they teach things to people all from scratch.
Aka someone that has no idea about it can attend a top Culinary school.
And what should i do to learn these things if they exist?
